Plant Dyed Bamboo Silk Hair Tyes - LOOKBOOK Launch

Model with white silk hair tie against pale pink hand painted backdrop

It was a chilly day last November when we gathered at beautiful Porthpean House on the coast of south east Cornwall to shoot the new Look Book with the dreamiest of teams.
"Glimmering and vast, out in the tranquil bay.
Come to the window, sweet is the night-air!”
Mathew Arnold
Inspired by the glamour of the 1920s Vogue covers, this shoot oozes glamour and forward fashion. From beautiful intimate bridal and event wear to an uplift to the everyday casual, our capsule collection of hand dyed silk ties is versatile and beautiful.

We were delighted to be featured on the wonderful UK Wedding Blog LOVE MY DRESS with the launch of our naturally dyed bamboo silk hair ties. The blog post also tells you a little bit more about founder Sian Cornish, her inspiration and process and a sneak at what is is to be a working Mum!

It was a pleasure to work with Annabel of Love My Dress in telling a little bit about my story, what makes Lancaster & Cornish a special destination for brides and clients, and of course to show off our wonderful and ethical wares.
