The Royal Variety Performance 2018 - Silk Ribbons for Royal Family

When Sophie of The Bloomery in Twickenham first approached me about being providing naturally dyed silk ribbon for the 2018 Royal Variety Performance, I was stunned! To have our silk ribbons adorning beautiful bouquets produced with foraged foliage from one of the Royal Variety Charities, Brinsworth House, was an honour.

The 2018 bouquet was presented on the night of the performance to HRH Duchess of Sussex (Meghan Markle) and the beautiful autumnal tones were complimented with gold and soft ivory shades of silk ribbons.

Sophie at The Bloomery was chosen to create the bouqeut for the event, and chose beautiful gold and soft taupe toned plant dyes silk ribbons to finish the look.
